QED has been a key supporter of the Chinese Welfare Trust in London since its establishment. The driving principle of our work is to raise awareness of the challenges facing older Chinese residents in the UK and to mobilise our network in addressing some of those concerns.
A retired teacher founded "By the Lake" School after a trip to Pujiang, Sichuan Province. QED collaborated in this effort and volunteered to fulfill their educational needs through online teaching, book donations and tutoring.
