A Note from Our Founder
Qin Li
QED Founder
QED began as the seed of a passionate dream—and it built upon wisdom I had acquired across a 17-year career with the UK Civil Service. During that time, I was deeply touched by—and hugely appreciative of—the openness of the UK government and diplomatic community. In my role as a diplomat, I met people from many different ethnic backgrounds, with vastly disparate understandings of culture and sometimes alternative views of international affairs. Yet despite our differences, we shared a common vision: that every person is here to contribute to a better world. This same life philosophy was instilled in me by my parents from a very young age, and it has continued to fuel my ambitions.

We all come into this world with dreams—to actualise them is challenging, and it certainly requires perseverance. Self-motivation and courage provide the ground in which to plant your dreams; the wisdom and knowledge of others is essential to nurture them. Several things motivated me to set up QED, but underlying it all was a singular aim: to give the real and best values of world-class British education to Chinese children so that they can see their own dreams grow.

Our network in the UK is supported by well-respected educators who delight in sharing their knowledge and wisdom to make the world better for students everywhere. Your journey with us begins when you start to think about studying abroad. However near or far that plan may be, we are here to guide you towards it—through initial assessment, examination preparation, school applications, interview training, document preparation, and the many other steps bridging today and tomorrow. Our advocates are with you at every step to ensure you remain true to your direction and to passionately support you in reaching any seed of a dream you have planted.
